2015 will be a busy year for the activists of the Sega Girls’ School in Morogoro, Tanzania! The schedule has been finalized and it consists of presentations at 4 different schools, mentoring of new Anti-Ivory School Clubs nearby, and a field trip to a wildlife reserve. There is no limit to what these girls can do. Not only are they breaking cultural stereotypes about their capabilities as young women, but they are inspiring other youth to stand up against the ivory trade. The JulietteSpeaks team is beyond proud of the Sega girls! Follow posts on JulietteSpeaks.org to keep up with their work to put an end to the ivory trade!
