We had our first meeting on Wednesday 23.1.2013 at 5:00 to 6:00 pm, and there were 45 girls members.Truly, the meeting was big success. I would like to share the resolutions and overall activities reached at the meeting:

  1. The Club Coordinator welcomed the members and gave a brief opening statement that introduced the girls to the concept of the Global Youth Against Ivory.
  2.  Members had an ample time to ask questions about Ivory and the SEGA club, questions were duly answered.Questions covered all areas such as Who buys Ivory?? What are they using Ivory for?? What can the girls do to stop it??
  3. Will meet every Wednesday at 5 pm.
  4. Next Wednesday the club will elect leaders who will hold the posts of Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and Communication Secretary. The election will be free and fair to all the members.
